IN-DEPTH WRITING TIPS TO WRITE QUALITY CONTENTS( FOR BLOGGERS)

In-depth writing is necessary in order to boost your blog rank. Readers love in-depth contents & search engines love readers. That is why you need to focus on readers instead of the search engine by writing in-depth articles.

In depth simply means a reader doesn't need to press back button immediately after entering your blog. He/she pressed back button because your contents couldn't satisfy him/her, It forced him/her to click back & turn to next article written by someone else.

HOW I WRITE IN DEPTH CONTENTS?

Before telling my story I want to tell you that in-depth content is a time-consuming process that can take your time depending on topics. If a topic is always on trend then you need lots of research before writing about it.

1. Choose the topic. Choosing a topic to research & write is the first thing you have to do for in-depth contents.

All topics cannot be in depth (You can write an in-depth article about heart attack & prevention but you cannot write an in-depth article about How to swim )

2. Questionnaire. You have to ask yourself "what type of questions are asked about this topic?"

For example, if you chose HEART ATTACK & PREVENTION then collect HOW, WHAT, WHY related questions about this topic.
What, how, why etc will help you increase the depth of the content

3. Note down the points. Noting down important points will help you to keep content in an organized way.

Noting down points will help you to create a sitemap of your content. A good sitemap means you can show users/readers what they want.

So organize properly what to write, where to write etc.

4. Adding info graph. Info graph means that gives information in a graph or chart format.

Infographic information is now popular among bloggers & small businesses.

Adding infographics increases the beauty of your article. Users feel like it must be in depth & well-researched article.

When a reader clicks first time on your article he scans your article instead of reading. By adding info graph you can force him to think that you are not that type of blogger whom he should take lightly.

5. So much is not good. Writing contents that are deep like Mahabharata or Ramayana can decrease the patience level of readers.

Only show what they need. After writing a content check again what to keep & what to omit.

Delete everything which are not necessary. Adding extras to increase the word length is useless. Users never read your content they only scan it

6. Write short paragraphs. You can see I have added a 2-3 sentence to my paragraphs. Short paragraph increases user readability. If you write an article which has big paragraph users will lose their patience faster.

Search engines encourage to write a short paragraph, add bullet points, highlight important points to increase user readability.

7. Write contents like an expert so that people will think your article is worth to digest.

To write like an expert you have to collect research data, statistics to show in your articles. Always write in the same style. So readers can get a taste of your writing style.

8. Never use difficult English words to show you are a master in this field.

To attract more users you have to write in simple English. Easy reading will help you engage with more readers.

Readers generally press the back button when they see more and more difficult words.

9. Updating that topic. After writing an in-depth article you have to update it regularly. Because statistics, graphs you added are not valid every-time.

Search engines love contents that are regularly updated. By updating contents you can boost your rank.

Even by writing 2-3 posts per week you can rank faster.

10. Before writing an content you have to do lots of research. It depends on the topic. If it is about how to catch fish then no need to do more research but if it is about heart attack & SEO tips then you have to do lots of research. (It can take 1-3 weeks )

If you want to be in depth writer then read worthy books. Read articles from other bloggers who write better contents than you. Learn from them but don't follow them.
